The objectives of the Academic Committee for Artificial Intelligence are:

• initiating and organizing research conferences related to the broad field of artificial intelligence, at the national and international level, at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, as well as actively participating in the organization of similar conferences in the country and in the region
• publishing scientific volumes on the topic of artificial intelligence (proceedings, proceedings, monographs, etc.)
• encouraging and promoting the work of young researchers in the field of artificial intelligence
• providing support for Open Access publications by members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and young researchers
• continuously encouraging networking between researchers in the field of artificial intelligence in Serbia and abroad
• initiating and implementing small-scale research projects in the field of artificial intelligence within the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, with the involvement of doctoral students and other researchers
• organizing visits of guest lecturers and researchers from abroad
• encouraging cooperation between the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts with domestic universities and institutes in research activities in the field of artificial intelligence

These objectives are elaborated in the Committee’s Work Program, and their list is open to amendments and additions in accordance with the dynamics of development in the field of artificial intelligence.
