The members of the Academic Committee for Artificial Intelligence are either permanent members or external associates.

Permanent members organize all activities of the committee within the SASA, hold regular meetings and decide on all important issues within the competence of the committee.

External associates assist in the work of the committee and propose activities and events related to the field of artificial intelligence both within the SASA and outside the SASA. External associates are selected from among renowned researchers outside the SASA, as well as from among young, rising researchers who have already proven their potential in their careers. An important criterion in the selection of external associates is geographical distribution, due to the intention for representatives of research institutions from various parts of Serbia to be actively involved in the work of the committee.
